Tournaments Updates
The Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament Society is glad to announce the beginning of its five annual tournaments with the 18th Nehru Girls event. This popular tournament of our eves will take place at the Women’s Hockey Academy Complex at Kampoo, Gwalior during 10-19 October, 2011. The total number of teams this year will be 22.
UMPIRE SEMINAR
Hockey umpiring plays a very vital role in conducting matches of the game, for, it is capable not only to make a match memorable by dint of flawless supervision, but it can even mar a good match, if one is not abreast with all the latest changes in the rules. The game’s rules have of late undergone a lot of changes in recent years. Therefore, it is imperative that officials, especially the umpires, who conduct the matches, should be abreast with all the rules in operation.
